Our military flags represent the branches of the United States Armed Forces along with several iconic and historical flags. In general, the order of precedence when displaying military flags together is the US National Colors, US Army, US Marine Corps, US Navy, US Air Force, and the US Coast Guard. However, in any period, such as in wartime, where the US Coast Guard is operating as part of the US Navy, the US Coast Guard flag would precede the US Air Force.
